SIMON ASORE
SIMON ASORE is a Development Worker and a Human Rights Advocate with 18 years’ work experience in the NGO sector. Currently, He is the Founder and Executive Director of Citizens Watch Ghana a Nonprofit Organization based in Sunyani Bono Region of Ghana working in Ghana.
He holds MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Development Studies, Tamale and B.A. in Social Sciences from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and also a Mr Asore has worked with several organisations and NGOs such as Muslim Youth in Development, Guard of the Earth and Vulnerable, PDA Agri-Business and Social Enterprise and also held positions such as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Project Coordinator, Programmes Manager.
During these period Simon Asore worked in Partnership with instructions/organizations such Ghana AIDS (GAC) Commission, Actionaid Ghana, Rights and Voice Initiative (RAVI), Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC), Center for Democratic Development (CDD GHANA), Ghana HIV and Aids Network (GHANET) and Ghana NGO Coalition on Health to implement social interventions to improve lives of the vulnerable and development in deprived communities. Simon Asore was appointed Functional Steering Committee Chair of Cashew Watch Ghana in March 2023.
