EVELYN BEMA DARKWA
Ms. Evelyn Bema Darkwa, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Human Care and Maintenance Foundation (HUCAM), an NGO with more than 20 years’ work experience. She currently holder of Business Administration (BBA Mgt) from University of Education, Winneba, Post Graduate Certificate in Organization Development (OD) from College for Community & Organizational Development (CCOD), affiliate to University of Development Studies - Tamale.
She also holds certificate on Financial Management and Budgetary Control for Civil Society’s Organizations from WASSI, Certificate in Reducing HIV Stigma through Education from University of Ghana Institute of Continuing and Distance Education Legon, Accra. Ms Evelyn is among the pioneers in Civil Society Organisations to be trained in HIV and AIDS, TB and Malaria (Counselor and Primary Health care advocate). she has also participated in both local and international workshops such as International Workshop on Resource Mobilization (IWRM), Kampala-Uganda and Resource Mobilization Strategy Development Bootcamp, Accra – Ghana
Ms Evelyn has worked with many institutions and organisations and held many positions which included the Brong-Ahafo Regional Vice Chairman of the Ghana National Coalition of NGOs in Health. She later became the Brong- Ahafo Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Coalition of NGOs in Health and due to the creation of Ahafo region, she is currently the Ahafo Regional Chair of Ghana National Coalition of NGOs in Health.
Ms Evelyn is eager to learn, enjoy overcoming challenges and have a genuine interest in women development and Women business management. She was appointed FSC Treasurer of Cashew Watch Ghana in July 2023.
